A complete consensus open BIM standard should
be developed for every construction projects to discuss, organize, share, reuse
and apply digital information between AEC and owner / operator competently
throughout the life of the facility from the
commencement of a project through to the decommissioning of a structure. This
digital information can be characterized in contract language.

information in every set of drawings at every phase of the project.
NCS is a language
widely approved by more than 5,000 workplaces across the country and overseas
as the "language" of design data.
Today's NCS is seamlessly integrated
with building information modeling (BIM) and is available in an online, easily
searchable format.
NCS involves a mechanism to modify the
constituent documents to fulfill the requirements of the broadest probable
range of users.
NCS consists of the NIBS' Foreword,
Administration Guidelines, AIA CAD Layer Guidelines, and the CSI Uniform

abbreviations, schedules and regulatory information, and tables of the plotting
