Nemetschek Vectorworks, Inc. and Francois Levy, a renowned CAD/BIM consultant and trainer, will jointly arrange a series of webinars that will be held in three parts to highlight the importance of BIM (Building Information Modeling) for small- to medium-sized architecture firms.
The first part includes the advantages and best practices of applying Building Information Modeling in Architectural Design. It is scheduled to start on March 9 at 2:00 p.m. EST (7:00 p.m. GMT). All the participants will be entitled to have one American Institute of Architects (AIA) learning unit hour.
Mr. Levy will focus on some advanced strategies that can be applied by the designers for a successful transition to BIM. Mr. Levy will also provide some real-world examples from his own work on successful BIM projects.
The first part provides great benefits to the Design professionals as they will learn the primary technological benefits and opportunities of BIM towards a collaborative design approach. They can also know the benefits of architectural BIM modeling over basic 3D sketch modeling, presentation and visualization opportunities accessible in stand-alone BIM applications.
